FAQ

Where Do Clients Park?

We ask all clients to please utilise nearby street parking. We recommend Noojee St as there is usually plenty of parking. We kindly ask all of our clients to not park in the industrial complex that our studio is located in. Thank you.

What are the Age Restrictions?

Under Australian law you must be 18+ to get tattooed. No exceptions.

How Much is a Tattoo?

Tattoos range in price depending on many factors such as size, the amount of detail your design requires, placement, how well you sit, how long you sit for etc.

We charge an hourly rate of between $150-$200 depending on the artist you have selected. If your tattoo is under the hourly rate the artist will charge you accordingly.

Our studio minimum for any tattoo is $150.

Half day rates run at around $600 depending on the artist you choose, full day sittings range from $1000 to $1400.

Yes we do! We’ve partnered up with AfterPay so you can pay off your tattoo as you choose. Click Here to be taken to the official AfterPay website where you can find out more.

Do Your Artists Do Cover-Ups?

Yes we do. We would need to see the existing tattoo that you want to cover and from there we can discuss the possibilities.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

We require a minimum 48 hours notice otherwise your deposit will be forfeited. Please note that ALL cancellations must be confirmed with the artist 48 hours before your appointment. You must contact them directly and receive a response from them in order for your cancellation to be validated. Your deposit will then be held until your next appointment.

  • For larger scale projects such as sleeve work and back pieces etc, your artist may wait until the full project is completed and then book in a complimentary final pass appointment to assess the tattoo as a whole to ensure consistency.

Will My Tattoo Hurt?

Tattoos are not pain free, however pain is relative and everyone has different pain thresholds. The level of discomfort you experience depends on the size and placement of your tattoo. The best way to describe tattoo pain is that it sort of has a sunburn scratchy feeling. The beauty and pride associated with wearing your new tattoo far outweighs any discomfort you feel during the tattoo process. You can lessen your discomfort by arriving to your tattoo appointment well fed, hydrated and rested.

Are Tattoos Safe?

We strictly adhere to all legislation, law and codes of practice outlined in the Tattoo Act 2013. We meet (and exceed) industry standards and only work with reputable, fully qualified and licensed tattoo artists.

Can You Draw Up My Design Before I Book My Tattoo?

We offer complimentary consults to discuss your ideas and come up with a design, however we don’t draw up artwork unless you have made a booking and left a deposit. Our artists are busy so your design usually won’t be ready until the day before your appointment. We ask that you trust your artist and their process. If any small changes need to be made your artist can make them on the day, however if you change your mind completely and want something very different to what was discussed during consultation please let your artist know well ahead of your appointment. If you don’t say anything until the day of your appointment your deposit may be forfeitted. For large scale work (backpieces, sleeves, etc) you may book in a 2ndconsult to have a look at the design.

Do I Need An Appointment?

We recommend making a booking to avoid disappointment, however we love to accommodate walk-ins if we have the availability. Feel free to call ahead and check we have space if you are wanting to drop in without an appointment. Or you can try your luck and just turn up! We are located in a cool little area full of coffee shops and unique stores so if you need to wait a little bit there is plenty to do (and eat) in the area.

How Do I Prepare For My Tattoo?

There are a few things you can do to make your tattoo experience as smooth and comfortable as possible.

  • Make sure you sleep well the night before and have a good meal before you arrive for your appointment.

  • Bring snacks and water with you to your appointment if you are going to be sitting for a while.

  • Wear appropriate clothing, bring a jumper or something warm as your body temperature can drop during the tattoo process.

  • Please shower, wear deodorant and clean clothes on the day. Personal hygiene is extremely important, we love it.

  • Try not to have any fake tan on when getting a tattoo. This isn’t mandatory but it sure does help!

  • If you are comfortable doing so, please shave the area you will be getting tattooed the morning of your appointment. Don’t worry if you can’t or you forget, we can do this for you.
